Job Description

Purpose & Context

The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate financial operations, compliance with tax regulations, and timely reporting to support business decisionswhile maintaining integrity, discipline, and efficiency across accounting, reconciliation, and MIS functions.

Role & responsibilities

1.

Manage day-to-day journal entries and general ledger postings
Ensure accurate and timely month-end closures

2.

Perform ledger and bank reconciliations
Prepare and analyze MIS reports, budget monitoring, and variance analysis

3.

Handle TDS, GST filings, and ensure statutory compliance
Support audits and internal financial controls

4.

Oversee AP/AR processes and vendor/customer reconciliations
Monitor provisions, accruals, and depreciation schedules

5.

Work on Tally Prime ERP and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Exposure to SAP is beneficial.
