Financial Analyst

Job Description You will be joining DATOMS as an Analyst in the Founder's Office, where you will be a key contributor to the financial planning, project management, and fundraising activities of the leadership team. Your main responsibilities will include: - Prepare detailed financial reports, business presentations, and executive summaries for senior management and stakeholders. - Assist in financial analysis, budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with company goals. - Develop financial models, pitch decks, and materials for fundraising efforts, engaging with potential investors and supporting due diligence processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and support strategic projects and initiatives. - Support the preparation of materials for board meetings, investor presentations, and other high-level communications. - Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and business efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees like MBA or CA are preferred. - Minimum 2 years of experience as an Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a tech startup or a VC firm. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets for meaningful insights. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas clearly to senior management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data visualization tools. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving. - High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
