Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business performance, budgets, and forecasts. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast. - Conducting benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers. - Collaborating with Local controllers to understand financial performance drivers, analyze trends, and propose value-added solutions. - Preparing financial analysis for various what-if scenarios and sensitivity analysis, assessing the overall impact on business units. - Analyzing overhead under/over absorption to identify root causes. - Preparing and analyzing Product/Customer profitability. - Tracking and analyzing Capital Expenditure budget and actual spending on a monthly basis. - Analyzing inventories, Net Working Capital (NWC), and Cashflow. - Supporting month-end closure activities to ensure financial accuracy. - Reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet, proposing necessary corrections. - Analyzing monthly data for MIS reports and presenting it in a meaningful format. - Performing activities related to Internal controls and SOX audit. - Comparing monthly/quarterly MIS data with benchmarks and providing comments. - Assisting in the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. - Validating the accuracy of financial data and reports through reconciliation and exception reviews. - Handling any other ad hoc assignments given based on urgency and requirements. - Providing management with summarized data, reports, findings, and analysis.
