Financial Analyst

Role & responsibilities

1. Financial Modelling & Planning

• Develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
• Build dynamic financial frameworks to evaluate investments, profitability, and cost structures.

2. Market Sizing & Opportunity Assessment

• Conduct market sizing and opportunity analysis for new and existing business verticals.
• Assess competitive positioning, industry benchmarks, and demand projections.

3. Forecasting & Performance Tracking

• Drive financial forecasting and variance analysis to monitor actual performance against strategic goals.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, MIS, and dashboards summarizing key performance indicators.

4. Sensitivity & Scenario Analysis

• Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate financial and operational risks under varying assumptions.
• Support management with actionable insights for decision-making under uncertain market conditions.

5. Risk Analysis & Business Evaluation

• Conduct risk assessments for projects, business cases, and investment proposals.
• Support investment appraisals, due diligence, and business case evaluations to ensure sound financial governance.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with operational outcomes.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and process improvements

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should have below mentioned expertise.

Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and ratio analysis.
• Expertise in financial modeling, market forecasting, and sensitivity analysis. • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analytics tools (Power BI, SAP, ERP preferred). • Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical rigor in financial reporting. • Strong problem-solving and decision-support capabilities.
