As a Team Lead (Bookkeeping) at Enkel, you will oversee a team responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for Canadian clients. Your role includes: - Monitoring work allocation to ensure deadlines are met using Enkel's practice management system - Reviewing month-end financial statement packages for accuracy and completeness, identifying exceptions, outliers, and following up on issues - Ensuring no slippage in deadlines for business-critical deliverables - Maintaining proactive communication on delivery schedules and budget allocations - Collaborating closely with the Canadian team to understand client requirements and deliverables - Planning resource allocation based on the budget and monthly delivery schedule - Providing training to team members, conducting monthly performance reviews, and assisting in the recruiting process - Managing client escalations, overseeing root cause analysis, and preparing improvement plans To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Minimum 4 years of experience in R2R (Record to Report)/End to end bookkeeping - Experience in managing a team of 3-5 resources in a multi-client environment - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, and efficiency tools like Dext - Ability to perform processes in an organized, systematic manner - Passion for technology and willingness to learn new systems - Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and Google Documents - Track record of meeting tight deadlines - Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience in service business operations with onshore and offshore teams Educational Qualifications: - College degree in accounting (B.Com, M.Com) or MBA Finance Enkel offers the following perks and benefits: - Medical Insurance - Organizational funded training and certificates Join Enkel on its mission to redefine accounting services and shape the future of the industry.
