Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership, guidance, and support to the executive team to achieve company objectives.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and operational priorities.
  • Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, and competitive positioning to ensure financial strategies are responsive to market conditions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and operational needs.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify areas of concern or opportunity, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the companys tax strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and manage audits, ensuring adherence to both internal and external audit requirements.
  • Lead cost management efforts, including cost accounting, pricing strategies, and margin analysis, to drive profitability and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Implement financial systems and processes that support manufacturing operations, cost control, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the team, drive growth, and improve profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, including accountants and the audit team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle the external audit team for the preparation of records & the tax audit team for finalization reports.
  • Liaisoning with government authorities and government organizations.
  • Coordinate with SIPCO & SIDCO officials for our organization’s requirements.
  • Coordinate with GST authorities for returns and audit matters and monthly routines.
  • To have proper control over payments to SIPCOT to avoid penalties.

Technical Knowledge:

  • SAP B1, SAP S4 HANA,
  • Tally, ERP.
  • MS office.
