Job Description

Job Summary

financial reporting, statutory compliances, audits, taxation filings, and receivables management

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Ind AS Compliance

  • Prepare

    quarterly and annual financial statements

    along with

    notes and disclosures

    in compliance with

    Ind AS

    .
  • Ensure accurate

    Ind AS adjustments

    , reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Support

    month-end and quarter-end close

    processes within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain schedules, working papers, and supporting documents for audits and reporting.

Audit Management

  • Coordinate with

    Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, and Tax Auditors

    for audits.
  • Prepare and provide

    audit schedules, reconciliations, and explanations

    as required.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit queries and smooth completion of audits.
  • Assist in preparation of

    audit reports and management representations

    .

GST & Indirect Taxation

  • Handle

    filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

    , and other applicable GST returns.
  • Prepare and file

    Annual GST Returns (GSTR-9/9C)

    .
  • Ensure reconciliation between

    GST returns, books of accounts, and portal data

    .
  • Address GST notices and coordinate with consultants for resolutions.

Direct Tax & Statutory Filings

  • Liaise with

    Tax Auditors

    for filing of

    Income Tax Returns (ITR)

    .
  • Assist in preparation and filing of

    Tax Audit Reports

    .
  • File

    Annual SFT (Statement of Financial Transactions)

    returns within due dates.
  • Support assessments, notices, and tax-related queries from authorities.

Accounts Receivable & Controls

  • Manage

    Accounts Receivable (AR)

    including invoicing, collections, and ageing analysis.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with business teams for timely recovery.
  • Ensure proper accounting of revenue and receipts.
  • Strengthen internal controls related to receivables and reporting.

Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with

    Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws

    , and other applicable regulations.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for better compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain proper documentation and SOPs for finance processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)

    /

    CA-Inter

    /

    MBA (Finance)

    /

    M.Com

    (CA preferred)

Experience

  • 48 years

    of relevant experience in

    Financial Reporting, Audit, and Taxation

  • Experience in

    Ind AS reporting

    is mandatory
  • Prior experience with

    Big4 / CA firm / Corporate Finance function

    preferred

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of

    Ind AS

  • Audit handling & statutory compliance
  • GST filings & reconciliations
  • Income Tax & SFT filings
  • Accounts Receivable management
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle / Tally / Navision any)
