Finance Planning And Analysis Manager

Role & responsibilities

Annual Operating Plan (AOP):

• Prepare timely and accurate Annual Operating Plan according to group guidelines
• Co-ordinate with marketing, Sales, networks, IT, Customer Service, Airtel Money, Finance and Human Resources on Opex and Cape inputs.
• Ensure that approved AOP is disaggregated into departmental cost centres and uploaded on the financial reporting system for facilitate comparison with actual performance
• Ensure all group guidelines are incorporated in the AOP

Monthly Forecast and Monthly Management Commentary:

• Cordinate with HOD's to prepare and submit accurate monthly Flash & forecast (F&F) that align business performance to the Annual Operating Plan.
• Ensure timely delivery of F&F as per group guidelines
• Validate monthly actual performance into the Annual Operating Plan model to form basis for future forecast
• Ensure high Planning Efficiency Tracker ('PET') ratings are achieved for Airtel Seychelles
• Give insight of business performance against set KPIs
• Give detailed analytical commentary on the monthly financial performance (MAPA Commentary)
• Identify causes of performance gaps and advise management on corrective measures

Business Reporting:

• Prepare accurate & timely CWN (Closely Watched Numbers) reports to management & Group Finance on a daily basis
• Ensure Daily CWN matches with monthly reports
• Prepare accurate, timely monthly & quarterly management reports
• Prepare business performance analysis versus set targets
• Timely submission of management reports per set timelines
• Resolve management reporting queries with Head Office
• Implement procedures to drive timely comparison and reconciliation of information received from various systems that are used in statistical reporting
• Ensure all financial & nonfinancial information is uploaded into Airtel Hyperion/HFM/FPM accurately
• Extract MAPA and review output for accuracy and completeness
