Job Description

1. Financial Management & Accounting: Responsible for Maintaining and updating the financial records, ledgers, and accounts. Prepare and monitor budgets, financial statements, and reports on a weekly basis. Ensuring a proper allocation and utilization of the funds. 2. GST Filing & Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing the GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within the deadlines. Reconciliation of GST data with financial statements. Handling the Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. Responding to GST notices and queries from tax authorities. Stay updated on GST amendments and compliance requirements. 3. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing vendor invoices, payments, and customer receipts. Verifying and recording expenses, ensuring GST compliance. Reconciliation of bank statements and manage outstanding payments. Coordinating with vendors for payments, keeping records of pending payments 4. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and risk assessments. Providing financial insights to support business decisions. 5. Compliance & Audit: Ensuring compliance with income tax, GST, and other statutory requirements. Coordinating with auditors and tax consultants for internal and external audits. Maintaining financial documentation and supporting audit processes. 6. Payroll & Employee Reimbursements: Processing salaries, TDS deductions, and provident fund contributions. Handling employee reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation and tax compliance. 7. Liaison & Coordination: Coordinating with banks, financial institutions, vendors, and tax authorities. Work closely with internal teams for financial planning and budget management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Certifications: CA, CMA, CPA, or GST Practitioner certification is an advantage. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and GST filing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, and MS Excel. Experience in using the GST portal for filing returns. Strong knowledge of GST laws, TDS, and other tax regulations. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
