Finance Manager/ Lead

Role Overview: As a Finance Manager Lead at SPAN, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations for the India GCC/Development Centre. You will act as a strategic partner with a CFO mindset to manage India Centre Finance Strategy and Operations. Your role will involve collaborating with global and regional leadership, leading budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations, and driving process optimization in financial operations. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee and manage all financial operations for the India GCC/Development Centre with a CFO mindset to align financial strategies with organizational goals. - India Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations such as GST, TDS, corporate tax, and transfer pricing, while optimizing tax strategies. - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to support business objectives and align with global financial goals. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals. - Reporting & Governance: Prepare and present accurate financial reports in compliance with Indian GAAP/IFRS and global accounting standards. - Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and audit readiness. - Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and banking relationships to support India operations. - Process Optimization: Drive automation and process improvements in financial operations to enhance efficiency and scalability. Qualification Required: - Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA in Finance or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. - Experience: 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing India finance operations for a GCC or similar setup. Proven expertise in Indian taxation and regulatory compliance. - Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP/IFRS and global accounting standards, proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Preferred Certifications: CA (preferred), CPA, CFA, or CMA is a plus.
