Finance Manager

In this role, you will:

• Guide critical financial operations and decision-making.
• Support the company's mission to pioneer breakthroughs in tech bio.
• Shape financial strategies and ensure compliance with Indian regulations.

You get to collaborate on:

• Core Accounting:

1. Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in line with Indian Accounting Standards.
2. Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing
3. Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer billing.
4. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

• Compliance & Reporting:

1. Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings on time.
2. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Support statutory and internal audits, providing required schedules and explanations.
4. Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws.

• Financial Operations Support:

  Work closely with senior leaders and the accounting team in India to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities. Prepare regular reports to help guide business decisions.

• FP&A Execution:

  Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, tracking KPIs, and preparing analysis for management review. Support implementation and use of ERP and planning tools.

Who will thrive in this role?

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business; MBA and/or CA preferred.
• CA with 3-5 years or 5-7 years in accounting or FP & A roles, ideally in a life sciences, biotech, or fast-growing startup environment.
• Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian compliance requirements.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, analytics, managerial accounting, monthly close, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management abilities; hands on experience with Focus X and Netsuite a plus.
• Growth mindset with adaptability and a collaborative approach to building the finance function.
