Finance Manager (Controllership)

As a Finance Manager (Financial Controllership) in a product-based SAAS start-up, your role will involve managing accounts, taxes, revenue recognition, and compliances to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. - Accounting and Financial Analysis: - Liaise with external accounting team for completion of accounts such as AP, AR, fixed assets, GL, and trial balance. - Well-versed with IFRS & Ind AS accounting standards. - Perform monthly and quarterly closing procedures for proper revenue recognition. - Prepare monthly & annual financials and Board Reports. - Forecast cash flow positions and maintain banking relationships. - Manage collections and maintain relations with debtors. - Taxes and Compliances: - Review direct and indirect tax returns, tax audits, and provisions. - Coordinate with consultants for labor and commercial compliance. - Revise procedures, policies, and systems for business expansion and compliance. - Audit and Due Diligences: - Close audit- Statutory, Tax, and Internal. - Complete due diligence for investors. - Process Management: - Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures. - Manage outsourced functions. Qualifications Required: - Qualified CA with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience. - Start-up or industry experience preferred. - Led audits and managed a team of 2-3 people. - Strong communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Data-savvy and numerate. - Ability to create presentations with tight deadlines. - Go-getter attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively. - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Ability to deliver business impact in time-critical situations.
