Finance Manager (Controllership)

We are seeking a qualified CA for the position of Finance Manager (Financial Controllership) based in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts, taxes, revenue recognition, and compliances while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the company. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing accounting and financial analysis tasks such as liaising with external accounting teams, completing full sets of accounts, and ensuring compliance with IFRS & Ind AS standards. - Performing monthly and quarterly closing procedures related to revenue activity to ensure proper revenue recognition. - Preparing monthly & annual financials, board reports, and forecasting cash flow positions. - Maintaining banking relationships, collections management, and relations with debtors. - Ensuring tax compliance by reviewing tax returns, audits, provisions, and attending to tax queries. - Coordinating with consultants to ensure labor and commercial compliance. - Owning and closing audits (Statutory, Tax, Internal) and completing due diligence as required. - Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and managing outsourced functions. Requirements: - Qualified CA with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience. - Start-up or industry experience preferred. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for interactions with internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, data-savvy, and numerate. - Ability to create presentations under tight deadlines. - Go-getter attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively. - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible business impact in time-critical situations.
