Summary:

Finance Manager

must be locally based in Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:

    Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and IFRS. Manage audits and statutory reporting.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

    Lead the annual budgeting process, prepare financial forecasts, and monitor budget performance.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

    Conduct detailed financial analyses, develop financial models, and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Cost Management:

    Implement cost control initiatives, review pricing strategies, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:

    Manage the timely processing of payments and collections, ensuring optimal working capital and cash flow.
  • Inventory & Fixed Asset Management:

    Monitor inventory accounting and fixed asset controls; implement effective inventory management practices.
  • Team Leadership:

    Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    Ensure adherence to financial regulations, manage risk exposure, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Retail Finance Support:

    Partner with retail operations to monitor financial performance and support new initiatives through financial analysis.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

    from India.
  • 10+ years

    of proven experience as a

    Finance Manager

    in the

    real estate

    industry.
  • Strong understanding of

    retail finance and operations

    .
  • High commercial and business acumen.
  • Fluency in

    English

    and

    Kannada

    is mandatory.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in

    financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning

    .
  • Deep knowledge of

    financial regulations and IFRS standards

    .
  • Ability to manage teams and work cross-functionally.
