Finance Intern

We are looking for a Finance Intern who is based in Pune and is eager to gain practical experience in billing and finance operations. The selected candidate will primarily assist in preparing, managing, and tracking client bills and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain client billing records
• Generate and send invoices to clients as per project/service agreements
• Track payments, due dates, and follow-up on pending collections
• Update financial logs and billing trackers on a regular basis
• Work closely with the accounts and operations team for accurate data entry
• Organize and file digital/hard copies of bills and related documents
• Assist with basic reconciliations and audit support tasks
• Ensure timely and error-free billing communication with clients
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data

Requirements:

• Must be based in Pune
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and billing concepts
• Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, data entry, formatting)
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and time-management skills
• Good communication skills (for client follow-ups and coordination)
• Willingness to work on-site and learn in a professional environment

Good to Have (Optional):

• Familiarity with billing software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
• Prior internship or project experience in finance/accounts
