Job Description

As a Senior Financial Accountant at our company, your role will involve leading the month-end financial closing for US entities, entity-wise reporting, cash-flow projections, acquisition accounting, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to drive efficiencies across business units. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing procedures and controls for all financial accounts including billing & AR (US, India, Philippines), AP, reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, P&L, balance sheets & accruals, budgeting. Additionally, you will oversee US, Philippines, and India tax filings to ensure compliance and accuracy. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, KPIs, and closing activities to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of financial information. - Preparing monthly segment-wise KPI reports, including consistent gross-margin and EBITDA analysis, and segment-/consultant-wise revenue reporting. - Analyzing corporation-wise monthly AR, evaluating AR-days-to-sales metrics, and guiding the AR team to minimize >30-day outstanding receivables. - Establishing and owning review processes to monitor financial statements, research and resolve technical accounting issues, and ensure timely identification and resolution of discrepancies. - Conducting financial-statement analysis to understand business-unit performance and recommend efficiency gains, cost-effective procedures, and profitability improvements. - Proposing and implementing solutions for cost reduction and reporting enhancements. - Overseeing year-end tax filings, preparing annual financial statements and footnote disclosures for Indian entities, providing data schedules to US CPAs and Indian auditors, and maintaining compliance with Indian agencies (TDS, Income Tax, ESI, EPF). - Managing India accounting, including monthly processes, policies, GST, TDS, P&L, balance-sheet, and cash-flow reporting in accordance with Indian accounting standards. - Coordinating US and India transfer-pricing documentation with CPAs and auditors. - Leading due-diligence efforts for acquisition projects. Your qualifications should include: - Masters Degree in CPA or CFA or CA Specialization - Bachelors Degree in Finance Specialization - High School Diploma in Specialization In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 2+ years of experience in Tax Preparation Specialization - 2+ years of experience in Budgeting Specialization - 2+ years of experience in Forecasting Specialization - 2+ years of experience in Auditing Specialization - 5+ years of experience in General Ledger Specialization - 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting Specialization - 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis Specialization - 2+ years of experience in Accounting Softwares (SAP Finance or Netsuite or Oracle Finance) Specialization As a strong critical thinker with attention to detail, a self-starter, and a team player, we believe you will be a valuable addition to our team.,
