Job Title: Accountant

About the Role

We are hiring dynamic and detail-oriented Accountants for our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable – Credit Control (AR) teams. The role involves handling end-to-end accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial operations.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process vendor invoices, PO/Non-PO matching, and validate supporting documents.
• Handle vendor payments, manage ageing analysis, and track due dates.
• Reconcile vendor statements and clear outstanding items.
• Verify GST, TDS, and other statutory components while processing invoices.
• Handle vendor escalations and ensure timely closure of issues.
  

Accounts Receivable – Credit Control (AR)

• Create and maintain customer accounts and credit limits as per company policy.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up for collections, and reduce DSO.
• Perform customer ageing analysis and prepare weekly/monthly collection reports.
• Coordinate with sales teams for overdue accounts and payment commitments.
• Evaluate credit risks and recommend credit approvals/blocks.
• Handle debit/credit notes and reconciliation of customer ledgers.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or relevant qualification.
• 1–4 years of experience in AP / AR / General Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
• Good communication, Excel skills, and working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle/Tally).
• Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume transactions.
