Job Description

Role - Finance Executive

Experience- 1-3 years

Qualification- CA Intermediate with 3 years of Articleship (Mandate)

Notice- Immediate -15 days

Individual Contributor: 50 to 60% of time

1. Focus on full-set accounting, not limited to bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash forecasting, month-end closing, and financial reporting

2. Manage audit activities for the Singapore entity (IFRS) and the Indian entity (IFRS and AS)

3. Prepare GST returns and employee tax returns and attend to all queries related to the Indian entity

4. Liaise with consultants and service providers on tax (direct and indirect) and statutory laws (including but not limited to Company Law, PF, and FEMA)-related matters

5. Manage company secretary-related issues (filing of various returns)

Analysis: 40 50% of time

1. Focus on management reports on various aspects of financial performance

2. Perform adhoc duties, which will also be assigned, providing an opportunity to enrich and grow your experience beyond accounting activities

Other requirements:

1. The industrial trainee, CA finalist, or individual must have completed 3 years of articleship.

2. Good ability to interpret FRS, Ind-AS, and tax laws related to the business and set up and manage internal processes.

3. Ability to handle audits.

4. Excellent knowledge of Excel, as it is used extensively.

5. The candidate must be meticulous and pay attention to detail.

6. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

7. Be able to start immediately or within a short notice period.

Education

  • Chartered Accountant qualification is a must.
  • 0.5-1.5 year minimum experience as a Finance Executive in mid to large size ($1 million+ revenue)
  • 0.5+ years of total accounting or finance experience
  • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, Ind AS reporting.
  • Hands On- ERP Systems Experience. Zoho Preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence - ability to motivate staff.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in building teams and carrying out jobs at an execution level when needed.
