Finance Director

As a Finance Director with Data Centres Experience, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with senior management of a rapidly growing company in the data centre industry. Your responsibilities will include overseeing group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities across various entities and markets. You will be required to develop financial models and scenario plans to facilitate investment decisions, cost optimization, and commercial growth. Your role will involve translating business performance data into actionable insights through the use of dashboards, variance analysis, and board-ready reporting. Working closely with business unit leaders, you will align forecasts with operational drivers and market conditions. Monitoring capex and opex spending against the plan will be essential to ensure efficient resource allocation and return on investment. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable processes to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline data flow, and foster collaboration across different functions within the organization. Serving as a finance business partner to the CFO and the C-suite, you will contribute significantly to investor updates and long-term planning initiatives. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 12 years of finance experience with a strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), business partnering, and strategic analysis. A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, MBA, or an equivalent certification is required. Your ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and consolidate performance data from diverse business units will be crucial. A hands-on approach combined with strategic thinking capabilities is essential for success in this position. Familiarity with capital-intensive or fast-paced tech environments would be advantageous.
