As the Finance Controller in India, your role is pivotal in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and enhancing organizational performance. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director and working from our Mumbai office, you will be responsible for maintaining robust internal controls, managing financial close processes, and supporting strategic decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Your responsibilities will also include partnering with various teams to facilitate pricing decisions, deal structuring, and business case evaluations. Furthermore, you will lead initiatives focused on cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and process automation while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance team. To excel in this role, you should hold a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent certification, along with 8-12 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in multinational settings. Proficiency in accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit procedures is crucial, as is a track record in financial planning & analysis, compliance, and team leadership. Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and skills in analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management are also essential for this position. Prior knowledge of SAP, Navision, and expertise in process automation using RPAs would be advantageous.
