Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors.
  • Cost Control & Management:

    • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Monitor and manage labor costs, inventory, and operating expenses to optimize profitability.
    • Conduct regular reviews of hotel performance and recommend improvements.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance performance and professional growth.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department.
  • Strategic Contributions:

    • Contribute to the overall business strategy and provide financial insights to support expansion and development projects.
    • Partner with other departments to drive financial performance through cross-functional initiatives.
  • Risk Management:

    • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and hotel policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Masters degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of [5-7] years of related experience, with a focus on finance in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles specific to the hospitality sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
