Finance & Compliance Lead

We are part of a 50-year legacy. We are making a fresh suite of ventures in green energy (Compressed BioGas), real estate, financial markets, and industrial manufacturing (welding wire). We are seeking a visionary Finance/Compliance Officer who will be a key architect in shaping the financial future of our diverse portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a cohesive, Group-wide financial strategy that aligns with the distinct business objectives of each new and existing venture.
• Provide strategic financial insights and perform advanced scenario modeling to guide market entry and expansion decisions.
• Manage and optimize the Group's capital structure and explore diverse funding avenues, including venture capital, institutional debt, and other strategic financing options.

Investment Management

• Navigate the financial markets and manage investment portfolios

Financial Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure rigorous financial controls and robust governance across all business units, safeguarding company assets and ensuring absolute adherence to policies.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks inherent to each sector (e.g., commodity price fluctuations, real estate market risks) to protect the Group's financial interests.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

• Oversee comprehensive financial reporting and analysis, providing incisive insights to the executive team and optimizing performance across business units.
• Spearhead all taxation and regulatory compliance matters, including Income Tax and GST, working closely with legal and tax advisors.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, and cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for operations and new investments.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team capable of supporting the Group's rapid growth and diverse business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal compliances, direct and indirect taxation, and financial markets in the Indian context.
• Demonstrated expertise in raising venture capital, managing investments, and working with financial institutions.
• Knowledge of banking procedures, including securing working capital and term loans.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
