Finance Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance & Accounting team on a full-time basis at our Vadapalani, Chennai office. The ideal candidate will support daily financial operations, assist with reporting, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and petty cash
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and audits
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Help prepare payroll and handle employee expense reimbursements
• Maintain and organize financial documents and records
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for finance-related queries
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (fresh graduates may also apply)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) preferred

Skills:

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

Work Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time (Work from Office)
• Working Days: Monday to Friday ( Alternative Saturdays)
