Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance and Operations Associate to independently manage finance and accounting operations for our US business, while also supporting HR, Marketing, and general business activities. This cross-functional role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to take ownership across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

Finance and Accounting (50%)

• Independently manage all accounting and finance operations.
• Handle bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and file US-focused tax returns, GST, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

Marketing Support (20%)

• Assist with lead segregation and basic research.
• Support in marketing campaigns with data collection and reporting.
• Maintain organized marketing databases.

HR Support (20%)

• Post job openings across platforms.
• Manage candidate communications (emails, scheduling, follow-ups).
• Assist in preparing job descriptions for publishing.

General Business Support (10%)

• Provide administrative and operational support as needed.
• Other office/business support tasks as required tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Commerce (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, compliance, taxation, and GST.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership.
