Job Responsibilities

Reconciliation & Accounting:

Maintaining bookkeeping & accounting in Tally.
Perform bank reconciliations, NEFT RTGS & verify transactions.
Making Entries in Tally (Journal, debit, purchase, sales vouchers, stocks )
Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers to ensure accurate payments and receipts
Co-ordinate with Chartered Accountants to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial statements.
Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Feeding Balance Sheet and P&L A/C in excel.
Petty cash maintenance for travelling, advance payments, daily expenses of staff

GST Compliance & Taxation :

Working Knowledge on Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) within deadlines.
Handle GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B vs. books) to identify discrepancies & follow up with vendors.
Quarterly payments of Advance Tax to avoid penalties
Assist in GST audits and departmental queries

TDS Compliance:

Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS on purchase and sales contracts, rent, and professional fees.
Exercising control over monthly TDS working, payments, filling of TDS return and issuance of Form 16 and 16A.
File TDS returns quarterly within time

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) or CA Intermediate
Software Knowledge:
Tally Prime
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of financial concepts like calculation of interest, GST & Income Tax portals etc.
