Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement annual marketing plans and campaigns targeting pet bird owners, retailers, and distributors.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, customer insights, and product positioning
• Budget-management skills and proficiency, build pricing strategies
• Creating and maintaining client relationships.

Brand Development

• Build and manage a strong brand identity for bird food products through packaging, messaging, and promotions.
• Plan and execute campaigns across online and offline platforms to increase visibility.

Channel Marketing

• Design and support trade marketing initiatives for retail stores, veterinary clinics, pet shops, and e-commerce platforms.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive B2B and B2C promotions.

New Product Launches

• Coordinate product development input and go-to-market strategies for new bird seed variants or mix formulations.

Partnerships & Events

• Plan participation in pet expos, bird shows, and pet retailer events to build brand engagement.
• Identify opportunities for co-branding or partnerships with aviary clubs, bird breeders, or NGOs.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track campaign performance, customer acquisition cost, ROI, and brand reach metrics.

Prepare monthly marketing dashboards and present findings to management

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the pet food, FMCG, or animal feed sector.
• Familiarity with bird species and their feeding habits (budgies, cockatiels, etc.).
• Knowledge or passion for pet birds and their dietary needs is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of Indian retail, distribution, and e-commerce ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, creative thinking, and project management skills
