Fin Solutions Group Manager

As the Fin Solutions Group Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing complex professional disciplinary areas and leading a team of professionals. You must have a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the function's objectives. Your role will involve applying in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions and demonstrating strong commercial awareness. You will be held accountable for delivering a full range of services to one or more businesses/geographic regions. Strong communication skills are essential for negotiating internally, often at a senior level, with some external communication also required. You will have control over resources, policy formulation, and planning, primarily affecting a sub-function. Your responsibilities will include short- to medium-term planning, full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, and oversight of people, budget, planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval. **Responsibilities:** - Engage in the evaluation and transition to advanced modeling tools, languages, and flexible/interactive modeling environments. - Contribute to the global implementation of common data and data standards, processes, and technology platforms. - Provide guidance and oversight on all aspects of Ruby development, implementation, and maintenance. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure business continuity. - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track project progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure accountability. - Lead organizational change initiatives and manage transitions for adoption of new processes and technologies. - Conduct quality assurance throughout the project to ensure deliverables meet required standards. - Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for onboarding new models into the Ruby platform. - Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external parties as needed. **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of work experience in Financial Services with a background in modeling processes. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel. - Understanding of fundamental Balance Sheet and P&L. - Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and Intercompany processes. - Working knowledge of Citigroup Financial Systems (PEARL/GENESIS/RUBY, etc.). - Experience with programming/modeling using Python, Java, SAS, or other modeling languages is a plus. - Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in delivering appropriate detail to various audiences. - Strong presentation development skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. - Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, PTS required. - Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies. **Education:** - Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree This job falls under the Finance job family group and specifically in the Financial Solutions Design & Implementation job family.
