Role Overview:

visually conceptualizing and developing animated films

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate narrative ideas and scripts into compelling visual sequences
• Contribute to

  visual development

  , including character aesthetics, environments, and cinematic mood boards
• Assist in defining

  visual tone, mood, and cinematic style

  in collaboration with creative leads
• Support the storyboarding and animatic process to establish visual storytelling flow
• Work with design and animation teams to maintain

  stylistic coherence and narrative clarity

• Provide visual direction and feedback across departments to uphold the creative vision

• Engage in shot composition, pacing, and storytelling rhythm aligned with the project's tone

• Participate in creative reviews and iterative development with directors and producers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in

  Animation Film Design from NID

  or an equivalent reputed institute
• Minimum

  2 years of professional experience

  in animation, film, or related creative industries
• Strong portfolio/reel that demonstrates storytelling, composition, world-building, and emotional beats
• Proficiency in 2D/3D tools such as Photoshop, Blender, Maya, or Unreal Engine
• Sound understanding of cinematic principles — framing, movement, lighting, and tone
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a creative production pipeline
• Passion for culturally resonant storytelling and high-quality visual narratives

Preferred:

• Experience working on animated films, shorts, or cinematic storytelling content
• Familiarity with Indian mythology, folklore, or rooted narrative themes
• Exposure to real-time rendering workflows or interactive storytelling platforms

2D filmmaking

Experience: Minimum 2 years (Preference for 3–6 years)
