Filmmaker

You will be joining a creative-led 3D animation studio that specializes in creating original, visually striking, and culturally rooted animated films. Your role as a Filmmaker or Visual Storyteller will involve collaborating with various teams to visually conceptualize and develop animated films that bring the storytelling vision to life. Your responsibilities will include translating narrative ideas and scripts into compelling visual sequences, contributing to visual development such as character aesthetics and environments, assisting in defining visual tone and style, supporting storyboarding and animatic processes, maintaining stylistic coherence, and providing visual direction and feedback across departments. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters in Animation Film Design from a reputed institute, a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in animation or related industries, a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling skills, proficiency in 2D/3D tools like Photoshop, Blender, Maya, or Unreal Engine, a good grasp of cinematic principles, effective communication and collaboration skills within a creative production pipeline, and a passion for culturally resonant storytelling and high-quality visual narratives. Preferred qualifications include experience in animated films or cinematic storytelling, familiarity with Indian mythology or folklore, exposure to real-time rendering workflows, interactive storytelling platforms, or 2D filmmaking.
