Joining QIAGEN means making a difference every day. The position involves installing, maintaining, repairing, and supporting equipment on all levels, including hardware, software, and applications. It also requires maintaining positive relationships with customers, utilizing relevant databases for effective information sharing, and using available tools such as Service Reports, Spare Part & Service Manuals, ISI Notes, etc. The role includes assisting in the development and maintenance of reference customers, meeting/exceeding sales targets, promoting and selling Field Service products, and providing feedback to Sales, Global Product Support, and team/management. The position also involves managing available time and resources effectively, providing support across borders/districts/regions as required, and positively representing QIAGEN in front of customers. Requirements for the position include a technical degree/education in Electronics, reasonable product knowledge within the Life Science industry/markets (Automation experience is an added advantage), 3-6 years of service and support experience in a comparable position within the after-sales service business in the Life Science industry/markets, or equivalent experience maintaining instrumentation. The candidate should have work experience in developing customer relationships, a valid driver's license and Passport, willingness to travel nationally and internationally, good written and verbal English communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a structured environment, willingness to travel more than 80%, and be a team player. Personal requirements include strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer management skills, willingness to learn and pick up information on one's initiative, self-motivation, quick learning ability, and willingness to share knowledge. The candidate should be self-organized and motivated to work independently under guidance from a manager, possess excellent listening, presentation, and communication skills at all business levels in both local language and English.
