Field Service Engineer

As a skilled POS Machine Field Service Engineer, your role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems at customer locations. Your technical expertise in hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and networking will be crucial, along with your exceptional customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and test POS systems, card readers, barcode scanners, and receipt printers at client sites. - Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to POS machines. - Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades. - Provide technical support and training to end-users on POS functionalities. - Maintain service records and report issues promptly. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security protocols. - Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues. - Travel to customer locations as required. Requirements: - Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, networking, and software installation. - Experience with POS brands like Verifone, Ingenico, or NCR, Hitachi, Postransact, Bill Box. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
