As the Supervisor of the department, your prime function will be to oversee, plan, control, and coordinate all team activities related to the department's operations. It is essential to ensure that the beverages served in your designated area adhere to standard recipes and maintain excellent quality. Your responsibility also includes addressing guest complaints, requests, or inquiries promptly to uphold exceptional service standards. Any issues that may impact the department's interests must be promptly communicated to the Management. Your key responsibilities will encompass effective People Management by motivating and developing staff to foster teamwork and ensure the department's smooth functioning. Achieving guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through efficient resource utilization is crucial. Establishing seamless coordination with all departments within Novotel Mumbai is essential to maximize cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service. Training the team as per established procedures and ensuring their competence in safety provisions is vital. Financial Management will involve identifying optimal resource utilization to drive cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with the F&B Manager to compile necessary information for budgeting accurately and in a timely manner. Operational Management will require you to stay updated with the latest trends, practices, and equipment in food and beverage service. Setting up equipment and preparing mise-en-place according to the bar policy is essential. Increasing sales volume through marketing strategies, seasonal menus, festivals, and special promotions will be part of your responsibility. Daily tasks include ensuring proper arrangement of amenities before service, maintaining cleanliness at the bar counter, bar cabinets, shelves, floor, and service pantry, and recording daily beverage inventory. In terms of qualifications, you should have a Secondary/High school education, with additional certifications in Food & Beverage considered advantageous. Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is necessary, and familiarity with other languages, as well as local languages, is beneficial. A minimum of 2 years" experience in a similar role, along with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required to excel in this position.,
