We're Hiring | Fashion Merchandiser Huts and Looms is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our growing team. 📍 Experience: 1–2+ years in the fashion industry ( experience in ethnic fashion preferred ) 📍 Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with the design team to align collections with seasonal trends and brand vision • Identify and procure new vendors and fabric sources that align with brand quality and price points • Create tech packs once designs are finalized • Manage the sampling process end-to-end—from initiating samples to securing approvals • Oversee smooth transition from sample to production post-approval • Negotiate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and MOQs to meet margin and timeline targets • Conduct market research and trend forecasting to support assortment planning • Monitor product performance and inventory to drive profitability and optimize sell-through • Ensure seamless coordination between design, production, marketing, and operations teams We are looking for someone who understands the balance between creativity and commercial execution, and who’s excited to build with a fast-paced, design-led brand.
