Fashion Design Merchandiser – Key Responsibilities

• Trend Research & Design Collaboration

• Stay ahead of emerging fashion and textile trends to support design innovation. Collaborate with clients to curate fabric selections that align with seasonal themes and brand aesthetics.

• Client Styling & Presentation Support

• Assist fashion brands and designers in creating cohesive collections by recommending suitable fabrics, colors, and textures. Conduct product styling sessions and presentations to guide decision-making.

• Sample Development & Customization

• Coordinate the development of customized fabric swatches and samples as per client briefs. Ensure quality, color accuracy, and timely approvals throughout the design-to-sample process.

• Cross-Team Coordination

• Liaise with the design, production, and sourcing teams to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction from design briefing to final delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree /Masters degree in Fashion Merchandising.

Skills:

• Good understanding of dyeing, printing and fabric quality.
• Ability to negotiate and get work done with vendors.
• Experience in getting the production process completed quickly and accurately.
