Job Description

You are a creative and experienced fashion designer with a passion for womenswear. In this full-time on-site role at SAKU in Gurugram, you will lead the design process for the womenswear collections from concept to final product. Your responsibilities include conceptualizing ranges and collections, selecting fabrics and materials, developing prototypes, managing design budgets, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role also involves mentoring junior designers to enhance their skills and creativity. Additionally, you will conduct trend analysis, work under tight deadlines, and contribute to the growth and success of the brand. To excel in this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from a top-tier institute, possess 4 to 5 years of fashion design experience in womenswear, have a strong understanding of fabric types and garment construction, and demonstrate excellent sketching and illustration skills. Prior experience in e-commerce and knowledge of industry trends are desirable. Strong creative vision, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for this role.
