Fashion Designer – Ladies Kurtis & Fusion Wear (Full-Time) Location: Jaipur (On-site) Experience Required: 1–3 years preferred Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and creative Fashion Designer specializing in ladies’ kurtis and fusion wear to join our Jaipur-based team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ethnic womenswear, embroidery detailing, fabric selection, and working closely with sampling and production teams. You will design seasonal collections, develop detailed artworks, and help bring fresh, trend-aligned products to market. Key Responsibilities Design & Collection Development • Design ethnic kurtis, fusion wear, and contemporary womenswear collections. • Create print designs, embroidery patterns, and placement artwork. • Develop tech packs, mood boards, colour palettes, and production-ready files. • Work with fabric choices, stitching styles, trims, and embellishment techniques. Research & Trend Analysis • Monitor fashion trends, silhouettes, embroidery styles, and colour stories relevant to women's ethnic wear. • Analyze market preferences and design collections aligned with brand direction. Production Coordination • Work closely with sampling & production teams for pattern making, fittings, corrections, sample approval, and detailing checks. • Ensure timely execution of collection timelines. Other Responsibilities • Occasionally develop modern graphic designs for casual t-shirts. • Maintain organised design files, artwork archives, and collection documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in womenswear / ethnic wear design. • Strong understanding of textiles, embroidery, and garment construction. • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar tools. • Ability to create concepts, mood boards, and production-ready art files. • Good communication, coordination, and timeline management skills. • A degree/diploma in Fashion Design or related field (not mandatory if skills are strong). Nice to Have • Experience with surface ornamentation and embroidery development. • Awareness of printing techniques—screen print, digital print, placement prints. • Understanding of e-commerce-oriented design requirements.
