Role Overview

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Conceptualization

• Develop mood boards, sketches, and color palettes in line with the brand’s design ethos.
• Conceptualize new collections rooted in India’s textile traditions with a modern appeal.
• Create silhouettes that highlight craftsmanship while appealing to a luxury audience.
  

2. Product & Textile Development

• Work closely with artisans and weaving clusters to translate concepts into fabrics.
• Innovate with embroidery, weaving techniques, and surface ornamentation.
• Ensure product development aligns with quality standards and brand timelines

  .3. Collaboration &

  Production
  • Partner with the production team to oversee sampling and final execution.
  • Coordinate with merchandising for collection planning and inventory balanc
  • Support supply chain touchpoints to ensure seamless production flo

    w.4. Market & Tren

    d Research
    • Study both Indian and global luxury fashion trends to inform design direction.
    • Incorporate cultural relevance and contemporary sensibilities into collections.
    • Explore new materials and techniques to keep collections innovative

      .5. Brand Storytelling &

      Aesthetics
      • Contribute to photoshoot styling and campaign narratives.
      • Translate the essence of handloom into modern visual storytelling.
      • Maintain consistency with WeaveinIndia’s brand identity across all creative outputs.
