Farm Manager

The Farm Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the farm to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role involves supervising staff, managing crops/livestock, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with agricultural regulations and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day farming activities (planting, irrigation, harvesting, feeding, milking, etc.).
• Plan and schedule crop cycles and livestock management.
• Ensure timely procurement of seeds, feed, fertilizers, and other inputs.
• Staff Supervision:
• Recruit, train, and manage farm workers.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Budgeting & Record-Keeping:
• Manage farm budgets, costs, and expenditures.
• Maintain detailed records of production, sales, purchases, and equipment maintenance.
• Equipment & Infrastructure Maintenance:
• Ensure all farm equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
• Coordinate repairs and servicing when necessary.
• Compliance & Sustainability:
• Ensure compliance with local agricultural, health, and environmental regulations.
• Implement eco-friendly and sustainable farming practices.
• Liaison & Reporting:
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, government officials, and agronomists.
• Report production performance to farm owners or higher management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Farm Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of modern agricultural techniques.
• Good leadership, planning, and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

• Location-based work with flexibility during peak seasons.
• May require extended hours, especially during planting and harvest.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
