A farm manager also plays a key role in ensuring the farm's overall productivity and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Managing Operations: Overseeing daily farm activities, coordinating schedules, and determining work activities for employees. Resource Management: Managing resources like land, water, and supplies, and ensuring efficient use of these resources. Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising farm personnel. Financial Management: Developing and maintaining financial production records, budgeting, and managing costs. Production Planning: Determining the type and amount of crops to be grown and livestock to be raised. Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment.
