Job Description

Assist in the day-to-day management of dairy farm operations, including animal care, milking processes, and herd health management
Monitor milk production levels and implement strategies to improve yield and quality
Collaborate with the Farm Manager to plan and execute feeding programs and health protocols
Oversee the maintenance of farm equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and productive work environment
Conduct regular evaluations of herd health and welfare, addressing any issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of production, feed usage, and herd health metrics
Train and mentor farm staff in best practices for animal husbandry and farm management
Support the implementation of sustainable farming practices and compliance with regulatory standards
