Faculty for BCA Department

Job Summary:

The Full Time Faculty in the BCA Department will be responsible for delivering quality

teaching, guiding students in academics and research, and contributing to departmental and

institutional development. The role includes curriculum planning, classroom instruction,

evaluation, and active participation in academic and extracurricular initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

 Deliver lectures and practical sessions in core BCA subjects such as:

o Digital Electronics

o Programming for Problem Solving through C & Data Structure through C

o Computer Architecture

o Basics of Web Design Using Html, CSS, Java Script

o Python Programming

o Data Base Management System, Operating System & Software Engineering

o PHP WITH MYSQL

o Object Oriented Programming with Java & Advance Java with Web

Application

o Unix and Shell Programming & Networking

o Data Mining & Data Warehousing Lab /Machine Learning Lab / Pattern

Recognition Lab/ Algorithm Analysis Lab

o Research Methodology and Cyber Security

o Cloud Computing / Block Chain Technology / Artificial Intelligence

o Statistical Analysis with R Programming

Responsibilities:

 Teach undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), including

theoretical and practical classes.

 Develop and update the curriculum to reflect current trends and technologies in

computer science.

 Conduct academic research and contribute to scholarly publications.

 Mentor and advise students on academic and career planning.

 Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and academic events like

seminars and workshops.

 Assist in accreditation and continuous improvement processes.

 Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

 Take administrative responsibilities as assigned by the department or College

authorities.

Eligibility Criteria (As per MAKAUT/UGC Norms):

 Educational Qualification:

o Master’s degree in computer science / computer applications / information

technology / relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent

grade).

o Candidates with NET/SET/Ph.D. (as per UGC regulations) will be preferred.

 Experience:

o Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.

o Teaching or industry experience in relevant fields will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

 Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and programming concepts.

 Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 Ability to use modern teaching tools and learning management systems.

 Research orientation and interest in academic development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
