Role Overview: As a Senior Facultative Specialist in the Oil, Gas & Energy sector in Mumbai, you will leverage your 10-15 years of reinsurance experience to lead facultative reinsurance placements for various energy projects. Your key responsibilities will include assessing risk profiles, negotiating terms with global reinsurers, maintaining strong relationships in the energy sector, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, mentoring junior underwriters, and staying updated on market trends. Key Responsibilities: - Lead facultative reinsurance placement for upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas, and renewable energy projects. - Assess risk profiles for large industrial assets, offshore/onshore operations, and high-value infrastructure. - Negotiate terms and conditions with global reinsurers to secure optimal coverage. - Maintain strong relationships with brokers, cedants, and reinsurers in the energy sector. - Ensure technical underwriting is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines. - Mentor and guide junior underwriters in energy risk assessment. - Monitor market trends, pricing, and emerging risks in the oil, gas, and energy insurance segment.
