Factory Worker

Job Title: Helper – Loading & Unloading Department: Production Location: Shiv Shakti PressTech Pvt. Ltd. (SSPPL), Navi Mumbai Reporting To: Production Supervisor Work Hours: As per shift schedule - (09.00 am to 06.30 pm) Job Purpose: To assist in the smooth operation of the production department by safely and efficiently loading and unloading raw materials, components, and finished goods from machines and vehicles as per standard operating procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Material Handling: Load raw materials/components into production machines as per operator instructions. Unload finished or semi-finished components from machines and shift them to designated areas. Assist operators during die loading/unloading when required. 2. Vehicle Loading & Unloading: Safely load/unload materials and products from trucks, tempos, and other delivery vehicles. Ensure proper stacking, packaging, and strapping of components to prevent damage in transit. 3. Shop Floor Support: Transport components between different production stages (e.g., pressing to deburring, inspection, dispatch). Keep work area clean and organized by regularly removing scrap and waste to designated bins. Assist in movement of dies, tools, pallets, and trolleys as needed. 4. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company policies during material movement. Report any unsafe conditions, damages, or incidents to the supervisor immediately. 5. Documentation & Record-keeping: Support in basic record entry for materials moved (if required). Assist store or dispatch personnel in tallying counts during loading/unloading. 6. Required Qualifications: Minimum 8th pass Experience in industrial or factory helper roles preferred Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy materials (with safety practices) 7. Skills & Attributes: Basic understanding of materials and packaging Ability to work in teams and follow instructions Punctual, disciplined, and safety-conscious Willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required 8. Work Environment: Indoor shop floor and outdoor loading areas May involve exposure to noise, dust, or fumes (PPE provided)
