About the Company:
We are a leading steel fabrication company specializing in high-quality, custom metalwork for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. With a strong reputation for precision and reliability, we are looking to strengthen our production team with a skilled and motivated Factory Production Supervisor.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee our factory floor operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in steel fabrication manufacturing, proven experience in managing labourers, and strong coordination and planning skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that daily production targets are met, maintaining efficiency, enforcing discipline, and serving as a key link between the shop floor and office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of factory workers and machine operators in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure discipline, accountability, and responsibility are maintained across the team at all times.
• Manage labour allocation, attendance, and team performance.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line with project timelines.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, purchasing, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and company procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide hands-on technical support and problem-solving on the shop floor.
• Track and report production progress, issues, and improvements to management.
• Train new staff and upskill existing employees to meet performance expectations.
• Ensure punctuality is consistently upheld by the team; lead by example in attendance and time management.
• Flexibility to stay beyond standard hours when production deadlines or urgent tasks require it is highly preferred.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a steel fabrication or metalworking factory.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, machinery, and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and accountability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
• Skilled in production planning, time management, and resource coordination.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
• Computer literacy and experience with basic reporting tools or ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a steel fabrication production environment.
• Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
