Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Acrylic Fabrication Technician to join our production team. The role involves precise cutting, bending, bonding, and finishing of acrylic sheets for high-end artefacts and displays. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the signage, display, or gifting industry and a strong focus on craftsmanship and quality. Key Responsibilities: • Operate tools and machines for laser cutting, CNC routing, and manual cutting of acrylic sheets. • Perform solvent bonding, UV bonding, or acrylic welding to assemble artefacts. • Use heat-based tools for bending and forming acrylic to required shapes. • Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD layouts, and templates to execute precise cuts. • Ensure finishing quality through polishing, inspection, and final assembly. • Maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and adhere to production timelines. • Work closely with the design and quality teams for prototyping and refinement. Required Skills: • Experience with laser cutting, CNC, or manual fabrication of acrylic products. • Proficiency in acrylic bending, bonding, and finishing techniques. • Familiarity with fabrication tools, adhesives, and heat-forming equipment. • Ability to read basic design layouts and follow instructions accurately. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Awareness of safety procedures in a workshop environment. Educational & Vocational Qualifications: • Minimum: 10th or 12th pass with strong aptitude for hands-on work. • Preferred: - ITI Certification in Fabrication, Fitter, Mechanical, or Plastic Processing - Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication Engineering (from Polytechnic) - NSDC or Skill India certification in signage/display fabrication or laser cutting • Candidates with prior experience in signage, acrylic display, or custom artefact units are strongly preferred.
