Factory Business Development

You will be responsible for executing new Business Development activities at the factory level by bringing the voice of the market to the factory and business decisions to the market with business support. Your main responsibilities will include developing new business opportunities for the factory in collaboration with the Product line Portfolio Manager & Sales, working closely with the India Sales Team to understand industry trends and identify new opportunities for SKF-India, acting as an interface between customer requirements and manufacturing, initiating Business Gate meetings for all opportunities, being a key member in New Projects within Cross-functional Teams, conducting feasibility studies and cost calculations, monitoring and tracking all product inquiries, driving export sales, supporting product introduction and delivery in ERP systems, liaising with Factory Supply chain for strategic planning, and facilitating communication between various departments regarding technical trends and customer needs. You will interact with Cluster Sales support, Product line Management, Sales teams, Application Engineering, Product Engineering, Customer Project Management, Customer Service, Controlling, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchase, and Overseas factories. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing and sales, preferably in the Manufacturing/Engineering firms, Auto components, or OEMs industry.
