Key Responsibilities
1. Physical Security Operations
- Manage day-to-day physical security operations across assigned sites/facilities.
- Ensure protection of employees, visitors, assets, and infrastructure.
- Oversee access control, perimeter security, surveillance, and patrolling activities.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
2. Manpower Management Deployment
- Plan, deploy, and supervise security manpower as per operational and risk requirements.
- Prepare duty rosters, shift schedules, relievers, and leave planning.
- Monitor guard performance, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.
- Address issues related to absenteeism, misconduct, and operational gaps.
3. SOP Development Compliance
- Create, implement, and periodically review security SOPs and post orders, including:
- Visitor management
- Material movement (inward/outward)
- Access control procedures
- Emergency response and incident handling
- Ensure SOP compliance through training, audits, and mock drills.
- Maintain documentation for audits and management review.
4. Security Automation Systems
- Manage and monitor security automation systems such as:
- CCTV and Video Management Systems (VMS)
- Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Alarm and intrusion detection systems
- Coordinate with vendors for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure system uptime, reporting, and basic first-level issue resolution.
5. Vendor Management Monthly Billing
- Coordinate with security service providers and related vendors.
- Validate monthly security bills, attendance sheets, OT claims, and deployment strength.
- Ensure billing accuracy as per contract, SLA, and approved manpower.
- Highlight discrepancies and follow up for corrective action.
6. Incident Management Reporting
- Respond to security incidents, breaches, thefts, and emergencies.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and prepare incident reports with root-cause analysis.
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Liaise with local authorities and emergency services when required.
7. Reporting MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports and MIS.
- Track incidents, manpower, audits, automation uptime, and billing data.
- Present observations and improvement plans to management.
Key Skills Competencies
- Strong knowledge of physical security operations
- Experience in manpower management and deployment
- SOP drafting and process implementation skills
- Working knowledge of CCTV, ACS, VMS, and security automation
- Vendor coordination and billing validation experience
- Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic reporting tools

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
- Defense, paramilitary, or professional security background is an advantage
- Relevant security or safety certifications are an added advantage
- Experience Requirement
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in physical security operations
- Experience in corporate offices, factories, pharma, IT parks, or large facilities preferred
- Exposure to multi-site operations and security automation is highly desirable
