Job Description

Looking for a highly responsible and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of a private residence. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of household operations including maintenance, security, staff supervision, and compliance. The role requires someone who is hands-on, resourceful, and capable of maintaining high standards across all areas of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Household Maintenance & Operations

. Ensure that all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems in the home are functional and well-maintained.

  • Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Liaise with external vendors, technicians, and service providers for repairs and installations.
  • Maintain a daily/weekly checklist for property upkeep.

2. Security Management

  • Oversee security protocols for the residence, including entry/exit logs and visitor screening.
  • Coordinate with security personnel or agencies for 24/7 protection.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and address any vulnerabilities or concerns.
  • Ensure alarm systems, locks, and safety equipment are always operational.

3. Domestic Staff Supervision

Manage and supervise all household staff including housekeepers, drivers, cooks, and gardeners.

  • Assign tasks, manage schedules, ensure discipline, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct periodic training and maintain a professional work environment.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements (e.g., fire safety, municipal norms, residential society rules).
  • Maintain records of staff attendance, maintenance logs, vendor payments, and warranties.
  • Manage household inventory, utilities, and vendor contracts.

5. Emergency Handling & Miscellaneous

Be the point of contact for all emergencies related to the property (e.g., plumbing issues, power cuts, medical situations).

  • Ensure the residence is prepared for guests, events, or travel schedules of the family. • Handle ad hoc requests as per homeowner’s instructions.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in facility management or estate/property management.
  • Proven ability to manage household staff and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of home maintenance systems and emergency handling.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English and local language (as needed).
  • Proficient with WhatsApp, basic Excel, email, and other communication tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,015.49 - ₹25,974.53 per month
