What this job involves:
As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will oversee comprehensive low-side soft services operations while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and operational excellence. This dynamic role combines hands-on facility management with strategic planning, requiring you to maintain high housekeeping standards, manage vendor relationships, and deliver cost-effective solutions. You will serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related escalations while driving continuous improvement initiatives that support our clients business objectives and contribute to JLLs reputation for delivering transformative real estate solutions.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Conduct scheduled and surprise facility walkarounds to ensure high housekeeping standards and oversee low-side soft services operations
- Monitor and manage Priority Calls with immediate response, ensuring all trouble tickets are closed within established SLAs and timelines
- Coordinate with vendor partners through monthly connects and analyze scorecards to continuously raise performance standards
- Oversee specialized facility services including mailroom, medical room, ambulance services, and mothers room facilities
- Prepare and manage budgets, submit monthly and quarterly business reviews, and ensure timely invoice submissions and payment clearances
- Handle emergency situations, coordinate business unit moves with space management teams, and support events management for both planned and ad-hoc requests
- Manage inventory, stores, and reorder levels while ensuring no stock-out issues and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or graduate degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience in facilities/property management, hospitality, or related field
- Strong knowledge of technology applications and demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills with detail-oriented approach and prioritization abilities
- Proven customer service experience with ability to interact effectively with diverse client staff
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle stressful situations effectively
- Demonstrated experience with client reporting and report preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and statutory norms for facility management
- Familiarity with vendor management and performance scorecards
- Experience supporting finance teams in budget preparation processes
- Background in emergency response procedures and medical emergency protocols
- Proficiency with facility management technology tools and inventory management systems
- Experience coordinating with procurement teams and managing supply chain operations.
