Primary Responsibilities

• Cleaning washrooms and lunchrooms, clean office areas, reception, stairwells.
• Making coffee and ordering coffee supplies and accessories.
• Handles food in a safe effective manner.
• Remove garbage, food recyclables, paper and cardboard recyclables.
• They may work shifts in the morning, evening, weekends, or overnight.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors and stairways, dusting and wiping furniture, disinfecting washrooms, kitchen areas and replenishing supplies, moving furniture, desks, cabinets etc.
• Clean windows, doors, clean buildup of carbide dust off production lights, and piping and roof areas, help clean up water spills and other upset conditions in production.
• May be required to work other shifts/overtime as required.
• Other duties as directed by your supervisor
  

General Education & Experience

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Well organized and able to work to deadlines by priority
• Retain and use learned skills
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Basic Computer Skills
  

Job Specific Education & Experience

• WHMIS
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
